A boho styled living room usually features wood, rattan or wicker, and leather. I didn’t want this boho living room to feel like every other boho space that I’ve seen. I kept everything neutral + slightly modern to achieve a more “adult boho” look. I reserved color only for the green velvet sofa which looks stunning against the black + white rug. I added in some organic elements with the wall baskets, olive tree, and pampas grass.

Coffee Tables

Straight line coffee tables are very common which is why I like to switch things up with a round one! A boho design style steers clear of all straight-edge profiles so I added round coffee tables, a slightly curved armchair, and a hexagon side table.

Accent Chairs

I love the shape and the caning in the armchair. The caned detail makes the chair feel more boho and global!

Rugs

I’m a sucker for a neutral rug! I love how the one in the concept board is full of texture. It doesn’t distract from the other furniture & ties everything together.

Decor

Decor and accessories are an easy way to change up the feeling of your home. You really have the opportunity to play with texture, color, shape, and scale when it comes to adding decor. Try layering vases and accent pieces in trays and baskets. A woven basket can make a space feel a lot more cozy than a marble tray.

Side Tables

Side tables are like the earrings to a sofa. They can be subtle or make a statement. To add in more of a boho feel, look for a wicker side table or a wooden one that is carved.
