Target Bedroom Inspo

Decorating your home for fall doesn’t need to scream pumpkin, leaves, cheesy sayings on throw pillows, or even “fall colors”. It can be as simple as turning on your lamps as the sun sets, swapping out a piece of decor for something more fresh, and adding layers of cozy to your space.

I don’t usually “decorate for fall” in the bedrooms of our home. I reserve any pumpkins or seasonal decor for our main living space and kitchen. However, I do like to add in elements of the season to our bedroom and office as the seasons change. It always feels so refreshing!

If you’re like me and like to keep seasonal decor to a minimum in certain areas of your home, this post is for you.

In both of these cozy bedrooms, I layered a large rug, included some sort of comfy seating, used accent lighting, and layered in throw pillows. To make your room ready for fall and winter (or if you’re just ready for a cozy change!) you can easily achieve this by adding a throw blanket, lighting a fall candle, or even adding in some fall stems to a vase.
