Modern design focuses on clean lines, minimal decor, light wood tones, and playful pops of color. If your interior design style leans toward modern elements, keep reading to see all my finds for modern Christmas decor.

Not sure where to start when it comes to setting up for the holidays? I recommend clearing off each area that you want to decorate – your mantel, tabletop surfaces, any shelves, your entryway table, and media cabinet, just to name a few. Starting with a fresh, empty space will make it easier to style.

Here are some of my tips:

– Keep this minimal when trying to achieve a modern look. Less is more here!

– Choose 1 or 2 main accent colors that you want to integrate (like red or pink), but otherwise keep the color palette neutral

– Look for Christmas trees that are made out of an unusual substance, i.e. these marble Christmas trees or these paper ones!

– Look for a fun and unexpected item that brings you joy, like this modern chic Christmas mug or this pre-lit wall hanging Christmas tree or this pampas garland

I found some great pieces this year and I hope you love them as much as I do! Below you’ll find more inspiration for decorating your home for the holidays this year.
